Pick a language you want to study

Select the header menu item "Languages". It will display all the languages available on the site. Click the language title to view all available study topics.

Find a study topic you want to practice

You should see all the available study topics from each language page. You can search for a study topic or term using the search bar on the right. If you don't find what you want, you may want to find a translation using google translator on our site. If you want to begin your own study topic, just signup and begin creating your own public or private list to start practicing.

Build you own list to study

Create your own lists to get the most out of this site. You can create both public, and private, lists. Public lists are great for helping add back to the community and allowing people to find new topics of interest but if you prefer to keep your lists private that's fine.

Login and maintain your profile

You don't need to log in to use this site. But, you won't be able to add your own content. It's very simple to sign up and by adding your own content you're more likely to pay attention to what you're learning. This site can be extremely useful and personalized to your study needs if you are willing to put in just a little time building up your own study topics.

Why are the translations sometimes wrong

Good question. I started a previous version of this site where I tried to supply my own dictionary of terms. It ended up being extremely difficult to maintain. Then I found google's translator widget. It allowed to me free up my time and build other things for the site while I let google do the translating for me. It also greatly increased the number of languages available to everyone. The problem is that Google Translator isn't perfect. And I appologize for that. It requires that users need to be vigilent about checking translations, especially for more complicated expressions. But you're not required to use the translator to build your list. Try typing them in yourself from books and travel guides, or importing entire lists from excel.
